If you are planning to spend Christmas with relative from a far, here are some packing tips that will surely help. You don’t need to mess of luggage. You clothes and accessories will look as great coming out of your suitcase as they did going in with these travel-smart tricks.
First, pack delicate items like blouses and scarves at the top of your suitcase, so they won’t be crushed. Pack trousers, long skirts, and dresses first. Prevent creases by using the interlocking method. Place waistband of trousers, skirt or top of dress inside suitcase. The trouser leg will hang over the side. Place second pair of trousers inside case so that legs drape over opposite edge. Stack folded sturdier clothes-sweater and jeans – on top of trousers (trousers legs should still hang over edges). Then, list trouser legs and fold them overstacked clothes.
For easy, wrinkle-free storage, tightly roll cotton T-shirts and tank tops. You can also maximize suitcase space by stashing socks or tights in and around, or in other small nooks. Don’t forget to wrap tissue around shoe heels and tape. Or you can also wrap a whole shoe in tissue, a shoe bag or even a grocery bag. Plain shoes and sneakers can be bagged together pack delicate or elaborately decorated footwear separately.
