Don’t wanna give up meat?

Don’t wanna give up meat altogether? Well here is the idea, why not try for a happy medium – go meatless at least once a week for ginormous environmental and health benefits, without compromising your taste for the occasional sustainably raised burger.

Here are some benefits you can have. First you will have more-than-middling health payoffs. Compared to meat eaters, vegetarians have lower rates of diabetes, heart disease, certain cancers, and obesity. And this will come together for the planet. Livestock accounts for 18% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions and 8% of water use – and a meatless diet is 50% more effective at cutting CO2 than switching from a standard car to a hybrid. Personally speaking a friend of mine has been a pescatarian (he eats fish occasionally, but no meat) for years; he decided to let Cricket eat what he likes – meaning more sustainable meat options.

nice jewelry

I know everyone loves to be fashionable and that includes my sister. She never goes out of the house without putting on designer costume jewelry. In fact, she asked me to buy her one piece of jewelry which I can’t say no. Since I don’t have many ideas on jeweleries, I consulted my partner about it. And after a few minutes she was able to find one at Holsted Jewelers. Plus, I did not spend much for a piece. My sister really loves it. The sad thing, however, is that she already asked for another one for her birthday. Good thing it is not that expensive.

my future tv set

I always dream of having a nice tv set in my own entertainment room. The very reason I am working hard to get it in the future. Of course I already have a choice the kind of TV and tv lifts. But, I am not pretty sure when this will materialize. So, I am open to the idea of changing my preference as technology develops. It’s never too wrong to dream for something that I never have.

Relationship Secrets (episode 1)

relationshipDIFFERENCES
Celebrate differences. Never force your ideologies down each other’s throat. Give up trying to turn your partner into you. Accept differences, appreciate them.

FIGHTS
Fight w/the aim to resolve the issue. Don’t outdo each other. The longer you extend the fight. The more chances that you’ll say something hurtful that you don’t really mean. As mad as you were w/ your partner, he/she is still the person who laughs at your jokes & thinks you’re hot. Hear each other out, don’t dig up old issues. Choose your battles. Make sure the fight will be worth it & that something will change in the relationship as a result of the fight.

FLAWS
Know that the perfect person does not exist. Know that just as there are things that you love about him/her, there will be things that will make you go crazy. We are only human with our own flaws.

FUN
Have fun together! This means keeping the fun & spontaneity that was there in the early days. Allow yourselves to get silly – shower together, pee w/the door open etc. Being able to make each other laugh & see the lighter, crazier, absurd side is the best way to get through all the differences in personalities, adjustments in lifestyle & opposing viewpoints.

GOALS
Make sure you have similar goals. It would be difficult to keep your bond intact if your views are complete opposite.

loved doing some crafts…

When I was in high school, I used to ask my dad to buy me rubber stamps. I loved doing some crafts that time, but he says its girl stuff. So, he would not get me one until my enthusiasm just vanished. When I was in college I can still remember those times when I feel deprived. Good thing my art, requires some creative art. Well, I just made myself a piece using custom rubber stamps. Even though it did not earn a higher grade, at least I have made myself happy.
