With the increasing number of vehicles in the streets, it is unavoidable for accidents to happen. The news bombarded us with several vehicular accidents in one day. Some of this accident’s ends tragically. However, despite the efforts of government imposing strict traffic rules, there are still drivers that are hard-headed and do whatever that pleases them.
There was this time when I went to a province where I have two modes of transportation choices a bus or van. To save money, I opt to ride a van since it’s much cheaper as compared to the bus. But, on our way the driver kept on overtaking bigger vehicles like buses even on curves. All of us complain that we are not rushing death although we want to arrive on time, but we are not on a hurry to die. But, he never listened and I bet he doesn’t even have van insurance to cover medical expenses when accident occur.
Good thing we arrived in our destination safe and sound. But, I familiarize the van plate number as I don’t want to ride with him again. Some passengers complain the driver in the terminal, but I did not since I am on a hurry. I am well-aware that I should take my part to stop careless driving to avoid accidents. Next time if I am not on a hurry, I can do that.
