Ever since I started blogging, I’ve been hearing about dedicated servers. Well, I have been thinking about getting one. I am already maintaining few blogs and I am thinking of starting my own social network. It sounds impossible, unattainable, and unworkable to me tough. I don’t really know how to do it. But, I am also starting to gather ideas and tweaks to make it a reality.
If my plans are not truly feasible, I could start my own business. I could sell part of the space to my friends and to whoever wants to buy. Besides, I will be the one to manage the server to avoid most of the variables affecting the reliability and stability of a server, commonly experienced by shared hosting accounts. The variables that affects the 100% reliability and stability includes overload, bad codes and scripts from other users (especially beginners); and, too many applications and components uploaded, and so on.
It may sound a bit expensive than shared hosting, but one positive aspect is that I can manage everything, which is very important to me. That is the very reason I’m starting to compare dedicated servers of different companies. I saw one yesterday the hyper-v dedicated servers. It offers a fairly big bandwidth, memory and it comes with no set-up fee.
Well, I am really interested in doing what I mentioned. It would only mean I have to save more now. It entails huge capital after all.
