Renovating my sister’s house is the first plan prior to buying the car. We feel that it is the best thing to do, as she is already left out from her neighbors. The towering houses in front and in both sides, make her house look so small even if it’s not that small. Aside from that, the renovation will bring the life back of the house because several defects, termite’s traces, and so much more are becoming too obvious.
The plan is set. She already contracted an engineer and architect. They gave her the plan, which is very nice. The bungalow will become a two storey house with so many finishes. The openings are all door arches and none are left in edges. Even in paper, I can visualize a good looking house.
Speaking of door arches. These creative corners can now be done by the homeowners. There are already pre-formed corner inserts available in the market that transforms square interior doorways into arched doorways without framing or drywall. This makes it possible for non-professionals to easily create beautiful arched doorways with professional results.
Back to my sister’s renovation plan, as expected it was canceled. I am not pretty sure as to its reason. But, something is telling me it’s the car. Probably she’s fed up commuting every day to send her kid to school. And, I never heard of the renovation plan again. I think that’s the end of it for now.
