How do you nap the right wayYou must take what is generally mentioned as Power Naps, also known as Stage 2 limited naps. Basically, while you sleep you go across what are called sleep stages, there are 5 of these stages in total. The first 2 stages are your Light Sleep. It is during these stages that we slumber lightly, we’re easily wakable, and our circadian rhythm is not altered enough to create a disruption in the sleep system.

The energizing outcomes of Stage 1 and 2 sleeps are really beneficial, hardly ten minutes of slumbering in these stages fire up your energy to the degree where you feel as if you slept for eight hours.

Still, how come just about everyone causes more damage to themselves by napping? It’s simple, they do not know about deep sleep. Deep sleep consists all of the other sleep stages. An average individual holds about 45-90 minutes to get in deep sleep that is why for a good nap you must hold back your naps low to a maximal of 45 minutes. Still 45 minutes is sometimes too much. The most refreshing naps are commonly 10 to 20 minutes long.

If your catnaps last too long, you will get in deep sleep. Awakening from a deep sleep phase does more harm to your sleep system and your energy levels than good! You will oftentimes feel lethargic, down on vitality, and in this ‘living dead’ state of mind. That is why practicing naps the right way, you are able to supercharge your energy levels drastically and turn down your sleep time drastically.
