protecting car interior
Even though I don’t a car, I fully understand the purpose of car floor mats. It stands as the protector of the car’s interior from dirt and damages of the everyday wear. It traps mud, water and shoe tracks, and stains. Also, it enables the car owner to clean the car’s floor easily.
However, before buying the mat the owner must take into consideration as to the type of floor mat that suits their need. Just like my sister who recently buys a Honda CRV car. She needs to take into consideration the climate she’s in. Well, this is not so tough after all since there are just two types of auto floor mats available in the market which us the all weather mat and the carpet.
All weather mat suits places that have temperamental weather condition while the carpet fits dry areas. I know she won’t go wrong on this one because it is too obvious that she needs the all weather mat. That is a good thing by the way since it costs less than the other type.

I Agree completely! I am from Arizona, and the heat of the summer has been known to destroy the interior of cars here. Some of the precautions that people take are floor mats as you suggested, tinting windows, windsheild covers and seat covers. I have never purchased seat covers until recently when I discovered all of the “dirt” that wouldn’t come up from my seat. I decided that it was killing my resale value and picked up some seat covers. I consider it a nice little way to have my own temporary car customization without it being permanant.
