I hate to say this, but the company that I am working with right now is really falling behind in terms of technology use. Why do I say that? Well, one good example is that we are still using bandy clock where we have to insert a piece of cardboard to record our time in and out. Of course, the HR department will still have to wait for that piece of cardboard before he or she can make the necessary salary computations.
The management never realized or they are just ignoring the fact that there are already several innovations for an easier employee attendance tracking system. One of those improvements is the Biometric Time Clock. In this technology, instead of employees punching in a time-card or logging their attendance by hand, they simply place their finger on the fingerprint reader sensor, place their hand into the hand reader flash or flash a card in front of the proximity or HID card reader, simple input their pin into the device, then the software will do the rest.
Whatever the management chooses, this time clocks will save money and ensure accuracy on the most costly expense that is labor. Other benefits include eliminating the buddy-punching, costly time-cards, early punch-ins, unauthorized overtime, and long hours of payroll calculations. In addition, it promotes automated payroll processing where it produces accurate reports employee time/attendance to Payroll & HR.
I might not be in the position to make suggestions, but if I were one of the management folks I would propose to contact the Time Clocke Shop, the leading provider of a quality Biometric Employee time clock and the leading supplier of employee time clock software. That way they will be able to get quotations from bulk clock orders.
