My partner planned to get cable subscription for her parents this February. The thing is, it is the same provider as before wherein she decided to discontinue the service after three years. And, I am not pretty sure if they will let her apply again using the same account name. But, for sure she doesn’t have any outstanding account with them.

Every time she mentions her plan. I’m always reminded about the Direct TV. As always I can’t help, but to compare the two providers the direct tv and our local cable provider. Well, there is a huge difference in terms of channel programming.

For those who don’t know, Direct TV Offers at least 150 channels with 9 premium movie channels for 3 months and local channels for only $29.99 per month for 12 months. However, this package is only the beginning as there are better package with higher number of channels with FREE HD receiver or DVR upgrade. Of course, with that comes higher price.

Direct TV Deals are really interesting and very appealing to me. But, this kind of service is not available here. We have no other choice, but to subscribe to the service that is available for us. I think that is better than have nothing at all. At least with the number of channels we have we can still enjoy some of the programs we love.
