It’s been five days since I arrive here. But, I haven’t roamed around the city because everybody is very busy with their work. All I do is search the web for some work and for gold prices. I have been interested in that ever since. Now, that I am in a rich filled country my interest even rises.

Before, my girl was a great fan of online games especially Facebook games like café world, market street, car town, pet ville, fashion world and social city. I can’t remember the other games, but I’m certain there are more to that. I keep on asking her to stop it so she can focus on her job. It’s taking a lot of her time and a day isn’t enough to accommodate all of those games. It’s slowing her down in completing her tasks, which is very bad.

Good thing she lows down a bit. She only keeps a few of those games to be specific two games. But, she added online slot machines on her lists. Actually, I have nothing against it as long as she knows her limitations. It’s quite unnatural to play games the whole day as expenses will keep on flowing. It’s a good way for her to get rid of stress.

But, I think it would be better if I purchase the ring with diamonds in it already. That way I won’t have to worry about placing them in the right place. Well, that is still a plan for the meantime.

Earlier it was believed that reading, extensive schooling and computer work were the main factors that contributed to the ever-increasing rate of myopia in children. While these three causes have not been eliminated completely from the equation, a new study performed by Australian researchers has showed that the main trigger could actually be not spending enough time outdoors. Strong evidence has brought the fact that children should spend an average of 2-3 hours outdoors on a daily basis, in order to reduce the risks of becoming short-sighted later in life almost by half.

The study involved a comparative analysis of the vision and habits of children aged six and seven from Singapore and Australia, undertaken by researchers from the Australian government. They found that 30 percent of the children in Singapore were suffering from myopia, which translated into ten times the rate in those from Australia.

Further investigation showed that the considerable difference in the rates of myopia could not be explained by genetic factors. Moreover, both study groups spent almost the same amount of time reading, in front of the computer and watching TV. What the Australian children did, though, that the Singaporean ones did not, was to play outdoors longer, about 90 minutes per day more. (more…)

For a long time I have been dreaming of owning a house that I can call mine. That is the very reason I choose to depart from wifey  to get the right job that will pay me sufficient salary. Consequently, they trip over it or otherwise hurt themselves, which in itself is something that should be further investigated because of the whopping 732% increase registered in recent years.

Speaking strictly numbers, “58.9% of injuries involved moving the computer or a component. Also, 15.4% of injuries were related to fixing, installing, or plugging in a computer, and 6.7% to using one. The most common diagnosis in all age groups was laceration – 58.4% to the extremities and 41.3% to the head. Contusions and abrasions were the second most common injury.” WebMD further says. (more…)

Before, I have a fascination of having a body builders’ body. That’s why I pushed myself to go to the gym even if my allowance is just enough for my needs. Like most boys of my age, I would want to attract the opposite sex by having a big muscle mass. A year has passed, but I’m not seeing great signs of improvement with my size. So, I give up on that.

Now, that fascination is still alive in little ways. Even if it’s not my priority now, I’m still dreaming of a great biceps and triceps. Wow! I never imagine that it is super-hot in here. My brothers are telling me that the weather in my country has nothing compared to the temperature they have.
