thrill and nerve wracking feeling

One week to go and off to a whole new place. This is quite exciting and thrilling as well as nerve wracking. I would not know what I will find there, but I’m sure it is great. The only thing I’m sure is the city is rich in gold. For those following this blog, they would know that I’m very interested and fascinated by the beauty of gold not just in its jewelry form, but also in its investment form. Of course, I would need more money for that.

Buying gold has been recognized for centuries as one of the best ways to preserve one’s wealth and purchasing power. Gold bullion is a unique investment. As an investment product, gold is available in coin or ingot form. Ingots are generally gold coins of pure bullion cast in a convenient size and shape. Coins have a currency value or they are actually defined as ingots.

For those interested you may visit the United States Gold Bureau. You can purchase silver, gold or other precious metals and coins for immediate personal delivery or arrange for convenient and safe storage at an independent bank or depository.

mind boggling gift

In a few days I’ll be flying to UAE specifically to Abu Dhabi to visit my brothers. One of them will be celebrating a birthday this 19th. That’s why they requested me to arrive there at least a day before so one of them could pick me up in the airport.

Honestly, I’m a little excited about the thought. This is surely an adventure for me. I’m thinking of the best gift for the celebrant. I’m sure he would want to receive a gadget so I’ll have to check the electronics shop to find the best option.

The only problem, I’m not too certain what he likes. This is really mind boggling as there are lots of personal electronic gadgets including eBook digital reader, portable GPS, MP3 players, cell phones, portable DVD, handhelds & pDAs and so much more. I really need to make a choice before the day comes.

Christmas is just around the corner

Its ber  month already, I can feel Christmas is just around the corner. Well, we are accustomed in preparing for the Christmas season as early as September. Some are even starting to decorate their houses while others are already sending their greetings. That’s why I’m starting to write down my gift lists. It’s better to start early so I won’t have to suffer from the hassles of Christmas rush.

Of course, I can’t send out gift to all my friends. I will end up broke if I do that. A Christmas photo cards will do. It’s the thought that counts. But, it doesn’t mean I will just choose whatever I will find in stores. I have to make sure I will give out the best quality cards that are filled with my style and personality. I want them to feel special so the cards have to be special.

Dealing with Frustration and End a Bad Day

It’s not unusual that we wake up and just know that “today’s going to be a bad day.” At times, we may even feel as if the entire universe has conjured against us to deliver us a blow that we may not recover from for the entire day, which means there’s nothing we can do to shake off the feeling. Not really so, LifeHacker says after going through all the trouble of looking up recent studies on how we perceive reality on these days and how to alter our perception of them to make them go away.

“Reflect on the negative feeling you have right now. Is it stress? Anxiety? Frustration? What caused it? Try to label it in one to three words, but no more! For instance, it might be ‘frustration with clients’ or ‘anger from [clients].’ You know, something like that. Once you’ve labeled it, do not think about the feeling or events anymore. Move on and only refer back to the label if necessary. Matthew Lieberman, an associate professor at UCLA, has shown that the simple act of putting our feelings into a word or two can dramatically reduce the effect of those feelings. When you’re angry, simply attaching the word ‘anger’ to your feeling makes you less angry,” LifeHacker writes for the first step in the process.

dreaming of giving her luxury watch

A few weeks back, wifey  whines about her favorite watch. It’s no longer working; probably we need to change its battery. Actually, it’s my first watch gift to her. But, she likes it a lot and wears it most of the time even if it’s not expensive. She keeps the second one since it’s more like for party accessory.

For now the watch already had a lot of scratches. If it can talk, it would say it needs replacement. Five years is a long time for a single watch to be worn almost every day. I already had plans of giving her a watch like that for her everyday use. But, I’m also dreaming of giving one of those IWC Watches of Lussori.

Lussori has over 10 years’ experience of bringing the world’s finest timepieces and jewelry to the most discriminating clients. It has certified watchmakers, gemologists and custom jewelers on the premises with state of the art equipment for all aspects of service. checking web for interesting stuff

I feel a little dizzy this morning after being drunk last night. Well, I have to admit that I only had at least three glasses of beer and I’m already drunk. I’m not used to be like this, but it’s been two years since I had an alcoholic drink. Last night is a surprise when Yuki treat us to celebrate his birthday and farewell. It’s a coincidence his birthday is just two days away from his time of departure. He will be leaving for his job as a seaman.

Anyway, I don’t think I can do anything as of now. But, I don’t want to go back to bed because of the hot weather. So, I’ll just check the web for interesting stuff like the industrial hand wheels. I really wonder what it is for. All I know, it is used to adjust a variety of machine functions. Although the wheel itself, of the hand wheel, is used to turn for adjustments, some hand wheels actually have a handle as well. Well, I will learn more of this if I get to work for an industrial company.
