It’s been a week since the last time I updated this blog. I have been busy getting things done as well as looking for a new place for my brother to stay. The owner asked him nicely to vacate the place because her cousin is coming home. She gave us only a short notice. Unfortunately, we hadn’t found a place yet.
The good news is that she decided to share the room and cut the rent to half. It is much better that way as we get savings from the rent. Now, I’m free to do the things I want especially that it is holiday.
Oh I forget there is one more thing left to do, to find a steel drum. She also told us to look for one and convert it to water storage with faucet. She wants to collect rain to water the plants and steel drums are the perfect bins for that as they are durable and will last longer. Doing so can save us from the ever increasing water rates.
