When I was in high school, I always thought of getting myself a trophy. It is my motivation to do better in everything I want to do. But, like the song “I guess my best wasn’t good enough,” I actually never had any one of those. It makes me feel a little sad because of that matter. But, I can’t go on living in the past. Now, I tell myself that I can always get all the trophies I want if I do better in my job.
Wifey feels the same way as me, she never had the chance to show off and get one. But, I’m pretty sure her situation isn’t that bad. She is really good during her school days, grade school, high school and college. So, I guess she also received trophies during those times. She just can’t remember it.
How much money do you have left at the end of the month when all the bills are paid? If you are like the rest of us, then it probably is not much if anything at all. Thinking about saving for a rainy day or, retirement, or college for your kids can seem like an impossible dream when your bills equal your income. It can be very difficult to have enough for the little luxuries in life like decent clothes, food, and a little entertainment.
If you are tired of doing without things that you feel like you work hard enough to deserve, then there might be some changes you can make to help you situation out some. Usually if you will sit down and budget everything out on paper where you can actually visualize where all the money goes, it can be easier to get a picture of where you can possibly find some money to save for other things. Now this might not always be the case if your income is extremely limited. If this is your situation, then you might need to think seriously about finding a better paying job or even furthering your education if necessary.
Many people are finding that going back to school for even a year or so can give them additional training in their career field or help them prepare for a new one. Sometimes this will be the only way out of a financial strain when there are simply no corners left to cut. If you have no money to invest in your education, check into the many types of loans or a grant that you can apply for to help with the expenses of education.

Ever since, wifey loves to watch anime through online streaming. She can do that for a day without interruption especially during her days off. She said it’s her way of relaxing because she enjoys it a lot especially the romantic comedy type. Of course, she can understand them, thanks to the caption. But, it only annoys and disturbs me because I can’t understand the language they are using – far from screen.
So, I thought it’s better to buy her Beats headphone. It’s a headphone designed to capture the sonic detail that is meant to be heard. It’s perfect for her because it’s lightweight and easily portable. The cushioned earpads will give the padding and comfort needed with reduced background noise. With this headphone, I’m sure not to hear loud anime voices again – unless of course I’m watching with her.
Supposedly, this is our last day of vacation. But, instead of spending it in the outdoors, wifey decided to hold a small party with the rest of the family members. Of course, it will not start until later in the afternoon. So, I have free time to blog and read articles in the web.

The whole day yesterday and today, no one can take away wifey from her computer. No matter how good my offer is, she still finds a way to refuse it. It seems like she is waiting for someone to go online. And, I’m right she is indeed waiting for her friend who just gets married today. But, I doubt that will happen. I’m pretty sure that newlywed will go on online only after the honeymoon. So, I told her to just call the bride to send her greetings. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have the new contact number.
Anyway, I know wifey is also waiting for the day of our church wedding just as I am. She keeps on asking whether that day will ever happen. She doesn’t know I also love to see her walk down the aisle even after years from our civil wedding. I just can’t make it happen nowadays because I want to make it perfect from her bridal shower invitations down to the little details. That’s why I don’t rush it because I’m sure it will happen at the right time.

It’s been a month since wifey and I tie the knot. I thought it’s the sign that we will welcome a new family member. But, if I think about it, I realize it’s not yet time. It’s only the beginning of our life even if we have been living together for four years. There are so many things we need to do and fix before we could embark on that journey. I guess it’s safe to say we won’t be shopping for beautiful maternity clothes this year.
However, that doesn’t mean I don’t like the idea of seeing my offspring. In fact, I’m emotionally ready for it. The financial aspect is the only one that hinders me from making it a reality as of the moment. My friends say I don’t need to have six digit savings to have a child. I believe it’s true, but at least have some decent amount in it, which is what I don’t have. Oh well, I’m sure it will come in the right time.

Some may even have the tags still on them. Just get in there and dig. Don’t buy just because it’s cheap, though. Just buy what you came in to get. December is a great month for these shops because people are donating for tax write-offs. You can also find DVD’s, CD’s, appliances, etc. at thrift shops. Thrift stores are becoming the latest fad!
Instead of shelling out twenty dollars to take your family to the movies, order a pay-per-view movie from your cable provider. You all can watch for the price of one, and have all the pop-corn and soda you want at a much cheaper price than at the movie theater. Instead of going bowling weekly, try having a game night. Everyone has board games. If you don’t, pick a few up at your local thrift store.
Try making homemade cleaners instead of buying them. Simple things like a little vinegar added to the rinse cycle can serve as a fabric softener. Dryer sheets can be used as dust rags. Explore all your options. You will save hundreds of dollars each year by following these simple tips.
