Hollywood Colin Farrell is no longer the bad boy who used to keep on its toes, hanging in utter fascination. A responsible father now and a more low-key celebrity, the actor offered kids at a Dublin hospital the best Christmas present ever. When most children are at home tucked in bed in their pajamas, waiting for Santa Claus to slide down the chimney, others less fortunate can only dream of such a thing.

It’s for them that Colin tried to make a difference. While in Dublin, the actor stopped by Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital for an unannounced visit. Not only did he not tell anyone he was coming, but he also made sure there was no press to upset the kids and, more importantly, came bearing gifts.

“The Hollywood star, who was born and bred in the city, dropped in on the hospital on Christmas Day, bringing hundreds of presents for the sick children with him. His unannounced visit surprised staff and patients alike, and according to reports, even his publicist was unaware he would be there. He cuddled the kids and chatted away to them as he spent some time in the hospital spreading some Christmas cheer to them,” says the same publication.

Ecstatic parents took to Twitter and social networks to praise the actor. They were clearly most impressed by the fact that he didn’t turn the visit into a massive PR opportunity, as some other celebrities are known for doing whenever they have a new project coming out. Colin also brought presents for the entire hospital staff, others said. “Farrell is a real genuine guy alright,” they all agreed.

New reports are emerging as both Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher continue to stay mum on the latest allegations about the state of their marriage and whether he cheated on her again. One says he only slept with other women because he wants to give his wife “tough love.” Life & Style claims to have it from a very reliable (but unnamed) source that Demi is again doing drugs, having presumably relapsed when she saw her marriage go down the drain, a long while before the alleged affair with Sara Leal.

When things got too bad and she would no longer pay any attention to Ashton’s pleas, he moved out of the house. Demi had been sober for a long time – decades – but recently it’s gotten bad. Ashton loves her, but he can’t stick around and watch her do this to herself. So, he moved out and moved on. He may have slept with other women since the split, but, claims the insider, he’s only doing it because he wants Demi to wake up and smell the coffee, as it were.

Moreover, Demi’s entire family is supporting him, suggesting that they’re condoning his cheating on her and the subsequent, ongoing media scandal. Her daughters, Scout, Rumer and Tallulah, and her ex-husband Bruce Willis want her to be healthy. The whole family is taking a stand to help Demi. Ashton is only doing this because he loves his wife and he wants to see her kick the addiction and be back on the wagon of sobriety. He may have fooled around with this girl, but his wife is his priority. Ashton’s trying to deal with Demi’s problems.

New heartbreak is the reason why Sandra Bullock has lost a lot of weight just recently. Things with Ryan Reynolds didn’t work out and he’s already moved on. For a while, talk of how Sandra and Ryan – very good friends in real life – was a couple gained a lot of momentum, with some reports even saying they were planning a small Texas wedding for later this year. Insiders are now saying that the two are no longer together and that he’s already moved on; one of the female stars he’s been linked to is “TRON: Legacy” stunner Olivia Wilde.

In its latest print issue, Life & Style claims that Sandra is having a very hard time dealing with the breakup – and it can all be seen in how skinny she is, Jezebel informs. “Apparently Sandra Bullock is ‘stressed-out’ and ‘can’t stop losing weight.’ She has suffered a ‘radical transformation’ and is ‘scary thin’,” the e-zine writes.

Indeed, the picture L&S used for the cover does seem to suggest that the Oscar-winning actress has lost some weight, which is visible especially in the chest area. “Her ‘chest bones are showing,’ and her ‘face is gaunt’ and her arms are ‘veiny and too muscular.’ A nutritional therapist who does not treat her says she has ‘almost no fat on her body’. Just in case you haven’t gotten the point, there’s text on a picture of Sandy which reads, ‘a newly bony body.’ This is not only because she went through an icky divorce, but because Ryan Reynolds has ‘moved on’ and Sandra ‘has no outlet for the loneliness she’s feeling’,” the e-zine further writes.

Of course, the entire report might be bogus since the two probably never even dated. The two have always been good friends and this – and not a romantic relationship – could explain the many times they’ve been photographed together in recent months.

Kate Moss is reportedly thinking about coming out with a tell-all book and, like all good tell-alls, it will also include details on her past loves. Johnny Depp, whom she dated for years in the ‘90s, is reportedly terrified at what she’s willing to put in print. Considered one of the most beautiful couples in showbiz (back then, but now too, depending on who you ask), the two went their separate ways in 1997 – and Kate is still hurting from the breakup, an insider says for the latest print issue of the National Enquirer.

Since she’s also working on her book, she wants to get back at Johnny by going public with the details of their troubled life back in the day, and this is something that he definitely doesn’t appreciate. Admittedly, Kate is ready to dish out the deets on her and Johnny’s drug abuse, heavy drinking and even heavier partying. The problem is, says the spy, Depp fears this will spoil his current reputation as a family man and a serious actor. He’s also thinking that his kids will grow up to read all about his troubled past one day.

Vanessa, his partner, the mother of his children and the love of his life, will also be shocked to see intimate details of Johnny’s life come out in print – not to mention hurt. Johnny has already reached out to Kate to urge her to reconsider. If she’s willing to come out with a book, she might as well leave her relationship with him out of it. Kate will hear nothing of the kind: she knows for a fact her relationship with the Hollywood star is her biggest selling point and she’s ready to make the most of it, it is further being claimed.

The Biebs has chopped off most of his hair, thus ridding himself of the famous ‘do known simply as “The Bieber.”  Over these past few months, Beliebers have been receiving definite clues that Justin was thinking about a change of style, perhaps on the assumption that he had outgrown the hairdo that had become almost as famous as he was, if such a thing is possible.

At first, he only tried out a few trims here and there, which, though they did alter his ‘do, did not turn it into something entirely new and entirely different. Now, Justin has decided to go all the way and, while on the set of his upcoming video, he had his personal stylist to give him a spanking brand new, more “mature” hairstyle.

The post also comes with a series of shots of Justin getting his new ‘do. Justin Bieber’s first ‘do, a bowl cut known as “The Bieber,” is one of the most copied styles with fans, with both boys and girls asking for it. While they pay upwards of $14 for “The Bieber,” the teen idol has to dig deeper in his pockets than that: Vanessa Price, his stylist, charges him $750 every two weeks for a touch-up, as we also informed you a while back.

It took an exclusive event like the 2011 Golden Globes to get Sandra Bullock talking about her personal life. After weeks of constant speculation on whether she and Ryan Reynolds were an item or not, (his) fans can breathe easy now: they’re not. As she worked the red carpet at the awards ceremony in a pale pink Jenny Packham gown and rocked new bangs, Sandra also made some time to take questions from the media. While she’s clearly not upset about what people are saying, Bullock wants the world to know that she is not with Ryan, they’re just good friends, PopEater reports.

“I think there will be a collective sigh amongst women across the United States when I say he’s not my lovah,” Sandra told reporters on the red carpet. “He’s just an amazing friend for 10 years. But I don’t get his loving after dark,” the actress joked, driving the point through, she was not romantically involved with him.

“While Bullock has had a number of high-profile romances in the past, don’t expect her to be lax on the dating front when it comes to her little ‘Cajun cookie.’ The actress says that Louis is ‘off the market ‘til he is 18’,” reports the same e-zine.

It is also noted on several previous occasions; Ryan Reynolds was believed to have become romantically involved with Sandra shortly after Scarlett Johansson filed divorce from him, which, in turn, is said to have caused some animosity between the two ladies.

Yesterday, 2010 Golden Globe nominations were announced and aside from some very notable exceptions (Leo DiCaprio), they also included a few major surprises, like 3 nods for the critically-panned and box-office disappointment “The Tourist.” The film, boasting two of the biggest names and most marketable stars of today, Jolie and Johnny Depp, made only $17 million in its opening weekend and opened to disastrous reviews, which made many label it a “flop.”

Still, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association honored it with three nods, much to the surprise of moviegoers everywhere: for Best Actor in a Comedy / Musical (Depp), Best Actress in a Comedy / Musical (Jolie) and Best Picture Comedy / Musical. While other actors would have been overwhelmed with emotion and perhaps shock too, Jolie kept her cool when learning of the nomination. Fans needn’t despair: Kim is not really dead but she WILL quit social networks starting December 1 as part of the Digital Life Sacrifice campaign. An impressive number of celebrities have announced their desire to be part of the aforementioned campaign, which will see them cease all activity on all social networks (most notably Twitter and Facebook) for a good cause. The cause is Keep a Child Alive, a charity organization sponsored and promoted by singer Alicia Keys. The campaign will also raise awareness for World AIDS Day.

The idea behind the campaign is very simple: celebrities will die their death on social networks, where they will only return after $1 million is raised for the aforementioned charity through text messages from fans. Among the celebs who will lend their voice for the cause are Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Ryan Seacrest, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Usher, Khloe Kardashian, Elijah Wood, Serena Williams, Swizz Beatz and many more.

“It’s really important and super-cool to use mediums that we naturally are on. It’s not that people don’t care or it’s not that people don’t want to do something, it’s that they never thought of it quite like that,” new mom Alicia Keys says of the initiative. Co-founder of Keep a Child Alive, Leigh Blake, stresses that there is also a hidden message behind the Digital Life Sacrifice campaign. (more…)

Courteney Cox and David Arquette announced they were separating after 11 years together. Not only is their marriage falling apart, but also Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s relationship because of it. For those not in the know Courteney Cox is Jennifer Aniston’s best friend. Jen was married to Brad Pitt and got divorced shortly after he met and reportedly started romancing Angelina.

According to the National Enquirer, Jolie is so jealous she won’t have Brad speak even to friends of Aniston’s. Clearly, she’s convinced he’s trying to get back with Jen. The tab writes – citing the ever-present and never-named reliable sources – that, after Cox and Arquette announced their separation, Brad called Courteney to have a word with her and see if there was anything he could do for her. Courteney is not only Jennifer’s friend, she’s also Brad’s, so it’s only natural to call her to see how she was doing. Angelina, it seems, did not really see things that way – and totally flipped out when she heard about it.

“Angie flew into a rage when Brad admitted he called Courteney – and she accused him of using the Arquette split to reach out to Jen. Angie said she wouldn’t be surprised if Jen was sitting right next to Courteney when he called! Brad’s mistake wasn’t calling Courteney but rather telling Angelina about it. When Brad heard that Courteney and David had split up, he thought is was natural to reach out. He called Courteney and told her, ‘I’ve been there. I know the pain you’re feeling. He said all the things you say to an old friend who’s going through a breakup. But his mistake was bringing it up to Angie,” an insider reveals.

After partying last Friday night with her boyfriend Cy Waits, socialite, actress and singer Paris Hilton was arrested on charges of cocaine possession in Las Vegas, after Waits was detained for driving under the influence. Though this is not the first time that Paris gets in trouble with the law, it is undeniably her most serious (alleged) offense, having been booked previously for driving on a suspended license, marijuana possession and one count of DUI.

The arrest took place late Friday night, as Paris and Waits were presumably driving home after a night out on the town. Hilton was in the passenger seat when the arrest took place. Police pulled the car over and arrested Waits for driving under the influence, TMZ says. He was drugged, not drunk, the same media outlet mentions.

“Paris was the passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over outside the Wynn Hotel. The driver was arrested for DUI (drug-related, not alcohol) and when cops searched Hilton, they found her in possession of a controlled substance. Police say tests revealed the substance to be cocaine,” TMZ reports.
