Supposedly this must be one of the biggest, most mediated events  in showbiz but, it seems, Lindsay Lohan was not at all warming up to the idea of having an entire world do the “walk of shame” as she was being released from Lynwood. The star was just now sprung free from prison, ushered into a van and taken to the UCLA Medical Center, where she’s to remain 3 months as per court orders, E! Online informs.

“Lohan (and her hair extensions) managed to make it through a sojourn at Lynwood’s Century Regional Detention Facility, serving 14 days of a 90-day sentence for a probation violation in a DUI case. Lohan was sprung at 1:35 a.m. Monday, although she managed to elude dozens of camera crews outside. Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore told the assembled masses that Lohan was ushered to rehab in an unmarked van. Not that she had time for teary reunions or fab photo ops…” E! writes.

“Los Angeles Superior Court Marsha Revel had ordered that Lohan report to a treatment facility within 24 hours rather than allow her time to unwind before fulfilling the part of her sentence that’s actually going to last for 90 days. ‘Per court order she has been sent directly to her next destination, which is a treatment center,’ Whitmore said. ‘She is now under the supervision of the L.A. County Probation Department. This concludes her custody. We are done. Thank you all for behaving. We can all go home now’,” the e-zine further says.

They’ve been rumored to be dating for about three years but, other than putting in a couple of appearances together as an item, they rarely talked about their relationship. True to their past behavior, actors Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have just gotten married in secret, a spokesperson confirms for Us Magazine.

“Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have wed, her rep tells Us Magazine. The two tied the knot in a small ceremony, attended only by close family members, earlier this month at a friend’s house in the Bahamas. Cruz, 36, wore a John Galliano gown. She and Bardem, 41, have been romantically linked since 2007,” Us Magazine writes. As of now, these are the only details available on the surprise ceremony. However, chances are the couple will release a few photos of themselves on the big day, word in the blogosphere has it.

“‘He’s a friend and the best actor in the world,’ she once told reporters of her Vicky Cristina Barcelona costar. She has mostly been mum about their relationship. Last year, when David Letterman tried to grill her about Bardem, she replied: ‘I don’t feel comfortable talking about my private life in public… I’ve been here a few times with you, you know I’m tough. One thing I don’t do, I don’t lie about my personal life. It’s sacred to me. It’s my life. But I don’t give details about it because I am allergic to that’,” the same mag further writes, giving two instances of how Penelope tried to keep her relationship out of the tabloids and the media in general.

Britney Spears fans must have been desperately waiting for news like this: the August 2010 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine brings a very cute and fun interview with the singer, together with a gorgeous series of portraits. Made to look like a school questionnaire, the Q&A tackles topics like her boys, her fashion style and, of course, her love life and being a star.

As scans of the magazine posted on OhNoTheyDidn’t show, the interview is not the standard type, the kind one gets to read in every other magazine. In keeping with Britney’s playful manner, it is constructed like a school questionnaire, where she gets to fill out the answers herself. To make it even more convincing, the interview looks as if Spears herself actually took the time to write her own answers, which is unlikely to be the case but is cute nonetheless.

Moreover Britney reveals being stalked by paparazzi is risk she willingly took when she started off in showbiz, how she gets agitated before a performance but tries to walk it off, what she looks for in a man (personality and the ability to make her laugh), and how much she values the opinion of her family. She also talks about being a mom and which was the biggest challenge she had to face in the new role and what she makes of her longevity as a pop star – as well as one piece of advice she’d give a young artist who’s seek her help.

According to the latest The Sun news website, one of Britney Spears’ bodyguards is thinking of going to court over claims that she seriously harassed him, making moves on him and putting pressure on him to comply with her advances. A friend of the former cop, Spears would always walk around Fernando Flores without clothes, making it more than clear that she’d taken a fancy on him and planned on acting on it.

“She was always giving him the come on and he felt if he didn’t reciprocate he could lose his job. He finally handed in his notice last week and is considering legal action. Working for Britney is tough. She’s a nightmare to deal with and her emotions are totally out of control. She runs round the house [nude] and yelling at staff. All her guards knew they could be removed if they looked at her the wrong way. Unfortunately for Fernando, she took a liking to him, so he was under more pressure than most. He wanted to be a good security guard and look after her but the situation became unbearable,” the friend dishes for The Sun.

Over the weekend, word got out that Britney Spears’ trip to Disneyland on Mother’s Day was due to her wanting to spend some time away from the paparazzi with her two adorable children and her boyfriend Jason Trawick. The Sun has another story today for Britney’s absence, claiming she actually wanted to do some research, having decided she wanted to have her body frozen.

“The eccentric star wants her body preserved in liquid nitrogen so future generations can enjoy her dance routines in red plastic catsuits. Britney is so enamored by the idea – ‘cryogenic’ freezing – that she’s investing in a firm specializing in it. The Alcor Life Extension Foundation is one of the oldest companies of its kind, founded in 1972. On its website, the Arizona-based firm gives its aim as: ‘Using ultra-cold temperature to preserve human life with the intent of restoring good health when technology becomes available to do so’,” The Sun writes.

“Brit gets these obsessions and this is the latest. It started when someone told her Walt Disney had been preserved by cryogenics to be revived in the future. That was a myth but it got her researching the foundation and she became convinced it was worth a shot. Brit found the whole thing so interesting she spent most of her Mother’s Day trip to Disneyland researching the subject on the internet while a nanny took the boys round the park. She looked into having her ashes turned into diamonds after she is gone but settled on the chance of getting to live in the future,” an unnamed pal dishes for the tabloid.

Perhaps, the only lover that did not address the issue with the media in any way is Rachel Uchitel, the woman also known as Tiger Woods’ alleged mistress number 1. She may have had a very good reason for doing so, since her silence is worth an estimated $10 million, give or take $1 million, TMZ confirmed.

“Our sources – and they are good – tell TMZ Tiger was so concerned with the depth and detail of information from Alleged Mistress #1 that they folded like a cheap suit, and offered the huge $10 million sum in return for an ironclad confidentiality agreement. TMZ has learned the actual settlement could fluctuate $1 million either way, depending on future circumstances. But the baseline is $10 mil,” TMZ says. The amount she got in return for her silence shows just how much she knew about Tiger, while also being an indication of how much the golfer would have to pay if Elin Nordegren ever decided to divorce him.

As the entire world must know by now, Tiger Woods is slowly starting to recover from the intense media scandal around allegations of cheating. The golfer issued a public apology just recently and has started working on his comeback to golf. On a personal level, he and wife Elin are reportedly trying to salvage their marriage for the sake of the children.

Rumors blasted online the other day about Britney Spears was single again, having broken off her relationship with manager Jason Trawick, after being together for almost one year. The reason for the so-called split was not known, but it was believed Trawick would continue to manage the singer. Luckily, as the Daily Mail confirm, the two are still going strong.

Though they hadn’t been seen together since Valentine’s Day, when they went for some junk food at the drive-thru, Britney and Jason put up a united front the other day, when they went shopping together hand in hand. For those who are not in the know, the two have repeatedly denied they are together in the first place, insisting they’re just good friends and business partners. Their outing the other day, together with the one at the Grammys this year, confirms they’re an item.

But as they analyze the pictures more closely and concludes that, though still together, all might not be well in the Spears paradise. Despite the close body language Britney didn’t look happy, with a glum expression on her face. The mother-of-two’s outfit contrasted with her frown – she wore a playful crown on her head, before swapping this for a pair of Minnie Mouse ears as she shopped. The pair visited Barney’s Of New York in Beverly Hills, before then heading to Party World in Encino.

Jason Trawick is not only Britney’s manager but also the person whom many fans and media outlets consider responsible for her immensely successful comeback, since he reportedly helped her get her life back on track and eliminate all the “leeches” from her entourage. Reports of a few month ago were saying they were even considering marriage, but those too turned out to be false.

The follow-up to the first film with the same name “Iron Man 2,” is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated releases of 2010. After fans were teased with a first look at the second movie with a trailer at the end of last year, today brings a new trailer and more hints as to what they should expect for this spring’s blockbuster, Obsessed With Film stated.

“At this point, Jon Favreau has my unreserved faith for this character, and the Marvel universe. […] He knows exactly how to tap into what fans want, and he delivers it big time. The new trailer coasts familiar territory for a while before morphing into a second half of exciting new wonders […]. It’s almost all new footage after the half-way mark, and seeing those robotic clones of Iron Man fight against War Machine and Stark is a delight. We get a great look at the characters of Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell and even Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury makes an appearance. Mickey Rourke’s villain Whiplash also gets fleshed out a little more,” the aforementioned movie-oriented e-zine says.

“There’s certainly a feel for The Dark Knight in terms of the action scene direction from Favreau and the obvious face-to-face prison meeting between Stark and Rourke but I can only think that’s a good thing. If Favreau can make a movie a 1/4 as tense as Chris Nolan and keep the same interest held from the first movie, then this movie could end up being the most enjoyable summer blockbuster,” the online publication further stated.

Well, base on this second trailer it’s almost certain to say “Iron Man 2” will be a hit once out in US theaters on May 7, several other movie-oriented sources also believe. Not only that, but the film actually stands great chances of bringing non-fans on board, some even dare to say.

With an interview for the W magazine, the March 2010 issue Megan fox announced that she is ready to become a mother. Also, she guarantees that would be an excellent one despite the fact people were seeing her in a different way. But, that means nothing in terms of lessening her desire to become one.

Megan, who’s been in an on-and-off relationship with former “90210″ star Brian Austin Green for many years, says the one thing missing from her life right now is kids. Last weekend, one of the British tabloids got a hold of a story saying that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had met with an attorney to discuss the future of their children, since they were not married and provisions had to be made. This, in turn, led to speculation that they were on the verge of breaking up – a breakup in which Jolie’s affair with singer Lady Gaga might have played a part, as Ian Halperin claims.

For those who are not familiar with Ian Halperin, he is an investigative journalist that also covered the life of Princess Diana and Michael Jackson. Just recently, Halperin came out with a book titled “Brangelina Exposed,” which, as its name implies, exposed the Brangelina couple for a pair of hypocrites manipulating the public. Now, Halperin claims to have knowledge that Jolie’s infidelity might have also played a part in her recent (rumored) separation from Pitt.

The thing that started all this rumor frenzy, the meeting with their attorney on money issues, did take place – it just didn’t happen for the reasons named by the tabloid media. Far from breaking up, the two stars are thinking ahead and planning for their children’s future, all six of them (Brad and Angie share custody of 6 kids, 3 adopted and 3 biological).

The power couple did indeed visit a high-powered L.A. lawyer last week – but only to cover their assets. ‘They aren’t married, so they need to protect their children and property in case there’s a rift in the future,’ a source says. That certainly makes sense, considering the two are worth a whopping $330 million combined.
