Like I said in my previous post, I am currently looking for a web site hosting provider since my contract will expire in the next few months. It is better to prepare early so I will have ample time to weigh things properly, which will enable me to find the best according to my research. Actually, I have the option to stay. But, I would like to try other services because it is a good way to know how each differs.
One of the main reasons, I sulk a little from my current hosting provider is when they said I will get one free domain hosting forever according to their representative. Sadly that domain expires after a year. The worst part is that it is expensive if I opt to renew it. Other than that I have no more complaints because I haven’t experience any downtime since September of last year.
However, it is also a good idea to get a new hosting because I will get a different IP. My blogs are growing in number and hosting it in the same provider will give me only one IP. So, my plan is to divide it into two and get two hosting package from different companies. Somebody has told me to just get a dedicated hosting because most of those give more IP’s depending on the company. But, I can’t bear the monthly costs of that. It is way too expensive for me.
How am I going to start my search? Well, it’s pretty simple. I’ll just visit webhosting geeks. There are lists of web hosting providers that are ranked according to the best price-value ratio. Host reliability, uptime, key features, bonus features, customer support, past and current user feedbacks, user-friendliness and hosting awards have been taken into account as well.
Almost all of the hosting providers listed are already popular in the market. And people have been using them. So, I can read lots of customers’ reviews even if they are positive or negative. I can base my decisions on those reviews. Also, the features like space, bandwidth, price and so much more are already enumerated in the site, which becomes clearly easy for me to choose before going to the reviews. Going through different hosting providers is a breeze.
