The official Twitter feed of former Microsoft boss Bill Gates has launched and is rapidly becoming one of the site’s more popular members. He picked up more than 150,000 followers in his first 13 hours on the website. He started his foray into micro-blogging with the words “hello world”, a standard message used by programmers when learning a new language.

There have previously been numerous fake accounts attributed to Mr Gates. The list of 40 people that Mr Gates follows, gives some insight into the life of one of the world’s richest men. Mr Gates said in his bio that he was using Twitter for “sharing cool things I’m learning through my foundation work and other interests”.

In addition to charities, news sites and various Microsoft accounts, he has also chosen to follow actress Ashley Tisdale and Queen Rania of Jordan. Mr Gates stepped down from Microsoft in 2008 to concentrate on his philanthropic work with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

I hate to say this, but the company that I am working with right now is really falling behind in terms of technology use. Why do I say that? Well, one good example is that we are still using bandy clock where we have to insert a piece of cardboard to record our time in and out. Of course, the HR department will still have to wait for that piece of cardboard before he or she can make the necessary salary computations.

The management never realized or they are just ignoring the fact that there are already several innovations for an easier employee attendance tracking system. One of those improvements is the Biometric Time Clock. I mentioned in my previous post that cbt planet is upgrading its IT training boot camp in 2010. I just have to expound on that information. This Boot Camp will prepare qualified Microsoft professionals to earn the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) that is needed in IT jobs. For a week now, I have been very busy studying Finish language. It’s eating a lot of my time that is the reason I seldom blog. I now have less time to visit my friends and even write articles. I am just happy that wifey is taking my place if needed. And just call my attention if she can no longer help me.

Yesterday, our teacher released us an hour and a half earlier than our schedule because of whatever reason. I was able to find time to drop cards and visit some of my friends. However, I am not yet motivated to do write an article.

All I can do is to surf the net and gather information. I think this is very good news for IT professionals who wants to undergo training for any MCITP certification. I find good news worth writing and sharing. Hmmm, now I already have a topic, I’m off to go hunting for other topics that is interesting.

I got so frustrated with my laptop last week. It begins to notify me that I am reaching the end of its battery life. Hey! I bought this for only a year. I feel so angry towards the manufacturer because batteries are not included in their warranties. And if it is included, then I already consumed the warranty period.

I made up my mind to sell my laptop at a very low price before the battery runs out of life. And, I will buy one of those cutie netbooks. However, wifey stopped me from doing so. She said it is my lucky laptop as many beautiful things happen in my life after I bought it. She adds that I can just buy a battery since the only problem is the battery.

I weigh things and she is right. Even though the battery is expensive, I am still better off if I choose this option. A new laptop or netbook is more expensive than the battery. Well, then it’s time to cool down and take a deep breath.

Today becoming competitive requires aggressive strategies. Having an online store doesn’t mean the task ends there. There is still tons of other stuff in the list. One of that is communicating to subscribers through email marketing. We all know that email marketing is no longer new for marketers. But, there are still issues they continually battle. That is sending the emails right in the recipients spam messages.

We blogger do have our fair share of this problem. I personally had this experience. Well, I keep track of my account by becoming a subscriber of my own blogs in some of my emails. To my surprised after a while I am now receiving my newsletters directly in the spam messages. That’s weird!

That is not all. By simply receiving my own newsletter in the spam mail, it would mean that if I do have subscriber they will experience the same thing. It would have a negative impact on my site. Plus, my message will have no chance to be read. The same thing could happen to most email marketing. They will just end up in spam mail, which is of course a waste of money and time.

The good thing is that there is software that can prevent emails from going to trash. This would revolutionize the way marketers marketed. The best way to know this is to try the product itself. As for me, I still need to save some money as I am in a tight budget. I am excited to see my newsletters back in my inbox.

Driving your own car has a big advantage as compared to riding PUJ, bus or cabs. It gives you more control as to where to go coupled it with an enjoyable and comfortable trip. However, many car owners don’t have any choice. But to accept the fact that they will be using the typical factory-styled vehicles. This is the case way back 30 years ago, not now.

There are actually car body kits available in the market. It enhances the vehicle and adds that extra flare many are looking for. It is the answer for every car owners who want to be unique. A stylish well-designed vehicle would show the owner’s personality.

Being a blogger requires a lot of time in the web. Also, it requires a 24 hour server up-time. There is a big world out there. Any time of the day people from all corners of the world would possibly take time to visit my page. One day downtime could hurt my traffic.
