After getting our passport application done yesterday, wifey and I decided to go to the mall for a while. As always, she is fond of going to the beauty department to buy different kind of stuff. She really wants to get beautiful, smooth and clear face. I don’t blame her since her oily skin makes her life worse. Pimples, whiteheads, blackheads and scars somewhat takes away her confidence. So, she is using all the possible products that can help her out. Getting professional help is out of the question since we can’t afford it for the meantime.
Anyway, while roaming the lanes she found several brands of facial masks. Then, she asked me what it is for. Honestly, I really don’t know because I’m not using it. I told her not to put it in her cart fearing it might go to waste since she doesn’t know its purpose. It’s better to first search the benefits before using it. When at home, she does search it and found the many benefits it can offer. My bad, she needs to go to the mall again. Okay, I’ll just share some weight loss stories I experience for the past two weeks. This topic is somewhat common for this blog. It’s actually because I – in great extent – want to have a great physique. But, it seems like this objective is significantly difficult to achieve. I don’t need or use any huge applications like photo editing or something of that sort. So, a netbook is a fine alternative plus it will not costs me big bucks.
I freaked out a little after hearing Friendster will be shutting down this May. I’m a great fan of this social networking site where I uploaded hundreds of my photos. I even created another account for more photo space. But, I gradually forgot about it after becoming a Facebook fan, although my account remains active until now. Hearing that they will be shutting down, I instantly logged in and back up my files including that of wifey.
For now, I already have lots of important files in my computer. I’m sure the use of data backup software is really helpful. Losing important files is so frustrating and irritating. I had a bad experience on that one before where I lost thousands of my photos. In just few minutes I lost all the photos I treasured forever and wasn’t able to salvage even one of it.
That is the reason I’m taking precautions now especially that I’m not just keeping photos. There are other important files I’m holding on to now. Having a good back up system will give me some peace of mind.
Wifey and I went to the mall yesterday and got surprised by the huge sale they offer. We totally forgot about it and we went unprepared. But, it did not stop us from joining the huge crowd from shopping. We are totally overwhelmed and lost somewhere. We go home carrying a bunch of shopping bags with us.
Oops, we did it again; we spent our week long budget for consumption to non-essential items. Now, we will be facing shortage of supply for a week. Wifey and her sister are planning to put up a boutique in the nearest future. They are already making some inquiries on possible suppliers and location. It’s been their lifelong dream to be become business women. That is the reason they took Business administration courses with hopes of becoming good business minded people.
Anyway, they are also weighing if they could benefit from the use of barcode system including laser barcode scanner, computers, printer and software. I think any business could greatly benefit from the use of such tool. But, they are uncertain if they have the right capital to fund the purchase. That is their main concern. I’ve heard they only intend to set-up a small store for a start. In that case, it would mean little workload, which they can easily handle.
Oh well, I won’t assume until they make final decision. Besides, they are still in the planning stage. I’m sure a lot of things will come up in the future.
